I really wanted to like this dress because I love the body conscious styles. The color is as pictured above. The sweater part (the violet) was quite thin. The black side material was very well constructed and stretchy. What I didn't like was the size of the cowl. It was a bit flimsy and I was looking for a cowl that would be more drape-like.

Love this dress!
This is the first sweater dress from The Limited that has worked for me. All of their other sweater dresses went past my knees on me (I'm 5'3"). I love the fitted silhouette. Fits perfect in XS. I wasn't sure about the black side panels, but they are definitely flattering.

Great dress!
This dress is beautiful-the black panels down the side are very flattering if you have curves and give the illusion of curves if you don't. It is warm-the fabric is medium weight-so it is perfect for winter. It looks cute with boots and tights-and looks good belted or not. So glad I bought it!

Looks great on
This dress does what it's supposed to do. The lines of the black and purple meet to make flatter your figure. The dress is as comfortable as any sweater dress and perfect for work with a light cover-up, or going out with a skinny black belt. Love this dress

i received the dress and loved it but threw the paper and box away i wore it to church next week and it had a runner in the bottom of the sweater.
