Retro shirtdress!
I took a chance on this despite the negative reviews, and overall I'm glad I did. First, concerning sizing and fit, I would say the dress runs true to size. I got my usual size and didn't notice any gaping or snugness anywhere important. As far as how it hangs in back, I do see what others were concerned about with the bubble-butt effect... But when I tried it on with a wider belt, I found that the back draped much better. On me, the length was fantastic--I'm 5'6, and it falls about an inch above my knees. The dot print is a bit busy up close, but I love the foulard panel along the hem. Looks great worn full-sleeved or rolled up to the elbows. Only real downside for me is that the fabric is too thin to really wear through the winter. Saving it for next spring!

Great Dress
This dress fit exactly as it should.....it is a shirt dress and therefore it is a little loose but not too big. It is not a fitted dress so do not expect a close fit. The fabric is exquisite! Very light and silky. I was pleasantly surprised with the pattern in the fabric - hard to tell exactly from the computer - it's beautiful!

Co-signing with the Previous Poster
I received this dress and instantly fell in love with the material. As someone who gets hot easily in the office, it was an added bonus that the material was cool to the touch and that I could easily add layers to it. However, no matter where or with what I belted it with, the dress would pucker in the back making me look extremely large in the rear end or upper back depending on where I pulled the excess material. I would have sized down, except the chest area would have been too tight.
I paid full price for the dress, but even at the sale price, I think I would pass on this one. Layering couldn't save it.

Eh...
The fabric is very pretty, but the fit fell far short of expectations. Returned immediately.
I'm typically a 10/med at Limited so I ordered a Med. The hips & shoulders were slightly too snug while the bust & waist were about 2-3 sizes too large. Also, the length was not to my taste.
