I usually stay away from pinks, but this skirt immediately caught my attention and, from the compliments I've received today, caught the eye of others as well! I'm curvy and usually wear a size 4 but went with a 6 on this piece - glad I did.

Cute mini!
I love the Limited minis because they're the perfect length on my 5'3" frame. They're not too short and not too long. This little number is no exception. My normal size 4 fit fine and the length was a couple of inches above the knee. I plan on pairing this with a blush sequin top I bought at the Limited a couple of years ago for a fun look. Very pretty in person with subtle shimmer. Definitely recommend.

Too Big but Worth Alterations!
I knew when I ordered this skirt in a 0 that it would be much too big for me. Limited sizes run large and I run very small; I'm sized out of regular and petite 00s by every comparable retailer and I'm no stranger to the need for a tailor. That added cost makes me pickier about what I buy, but I'm so pleased with this skirt, I plan to hold onto it.
The quality is good but the tweed-like fabric is thin enough that it doesn't add bulk, a feature rare among tweeds. Though the shiny threads add a bit of sparkle to it, they aren't obvious enough to preclude daytime wear. I also think that with bare legs and the right blouse, it can also be carried quite easily into spring. That's what I plan to do, anyways.
For these reasons, and because I bought it during a 50%-off sale, I think it's well worth the cost of alterations. : )
