didn't have much luck on this one even though the deal was too good to pass up. had to return it. the fit for me was more shapeless even with a belt.

Simple beauty
This is a simply beautiful dress. I was looking for a dress to wear on semi-formal night on a cruise and it fits my hourglass figure perfectly. The pleats are a unique feature of the dress, and only add to its beauty. I purchased a size medium and replaced the solid black belt that comes with the dress with the black & white Paneled Elastic Belt that was also on sale at The Limited.

Pleated inset dress
I love this dress! The color scheme, material, and style is suitable for all seasons. I thought this dress would probably be quite boxy, but ordered my typical Limited size (medium). It absolutely has to be belted, but the material is drapey enough to look really flattering belted. The belt that comes with this dress is OK, however, the one I received had an extra two feet of material! I would need to punch a new set of holes and then cut off quite a bit of excess, but fortunately I have a multitude of other Limited belts to pair with this. The pleating detail is so pretty, and I get so many compliments when I wear this. Alone the dress is perfect for warmer months, and when layered with tights and a cardigan or blazer, it's perfect for the cooler ones. Love it!
