Cute dress but some quality issues
This a very cute, girly, fun dress in a classic fit-and-flare style. I heard that it runs big, so I started with a size 2, since I normally wear a 4. It wouldn't quite button. The next available size was an 8, and I didn't find it to be that much larger than the 2 in the waist, but it was noticeably larger in the bust. It's also too long for my 5'0 frame, but I like the dress enough that I will have it hemmed and have the bust taken in some. The main issue I have with the dress is the quality of the belt and the buttons on the back of the bodice. The belt has a hook-and-eye closure in the back, which is weird, and the "eye" part is made out of thread rather than metal, which is weirder, so it will not last long and could easily pull apart the first time you wear the dress. The buttons are also very loosely sewn on. I did not have much trouble buttoning the first three buttons (starting at the bottom), but the top one was hard to button by myself, as it is right between the shoulder blades. Bottom line: if you're between sizes, go up, and tailor as necessary; also, the closures on the dress will, in all likelihood, require some maintenance. But it is a timeless dress that you will have fun wearing. If you can get it with a coupon, go for it.

My perfect little black dress
This is an amazing classic dress that will never go out of style. It is a great alternative to your little black dress. It was extremely comfortable as well. Looks great with flats and heels as well
