I also think this can come off as navy or black depending on what you pair it with. I like the sleeve length & the nautical look. Too bad I don't have a sailboat to accessorize!

Perfect style
This blouse is beautiful. I wear it untucked with navy pants - looks sassy and professional...and hides any signs of belly! I hope they design it in other colors/prints.

I see soft black...
I LOVE this top. I can see why it looks navy to some people, but it just looks like a soft black to me (not gray, but just not a sharp black). I think you could wear it as either black or navy without any problem. The fit is a tiny bit more tight across the upper back than I expected, but not uncomfortably so. The top is definitely loose around the waist, but I like that. Because of the gathering at the neckline, the stripes drape diagonally in the front which I think prevents them from making someone look wider. In the back, however, the stripes are still horizontal. I am definitely a fan of this top and really happy with this purchase.

Trendy yet classic
I was reluctant to buy this because stripes can be dangerous with curves, but this blouse is amazing. It's flowy enough to be flattering and looks chic tucked into black pants with a black jacket over top. It adds a bit of "pop" to an otherwise conservative outfit. Unlike some reviewers, I felt this was a black and white stripe and not a navy.

Be Chic!
Don't be fooled by this tucked in shirt. It's navy and white and absoluetly gorgeous on. The simple detail on the neck line gives it an extra flair.
Now don't buy this if you are looking for something very fitted. It's a flowing top with longer than 3/4 sleeves.
I got my normal size didn't even bother trying on a smaller size.

Jailhouse
The shirt alone was way too big and not fitted.
If I were to recommend this, wear it tucked in with a skirt, or with a belt. The shirt by itself looked liked a potato bag in jail.
