We know that our associates’ total health and well-being are critical to our success. We offer you our core suite of benefits like medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. In addition, we strive to provide other innovative benefits such as Health Advocate, Teladoc and Sittercity that are designed to support and simplify your life.
All associates are eligible for our merchandise discount and have credit union access. Depending on age, associates may become eligible for the 401(k) retirement plan.
To be eligible for our full benefits package, you must be a full-time associate who is a store management associate (Store Managers, Co-Managers and Assistant Managers) or an associate in the Store Support Team or New York Design Studio. Benefits' eligibility begins on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Medical and Pharmacy
The Limited offers three comprehensive medical plan choices—in partnership with United Healthcare—for you to choose the plan that fits your lifestyle and financial needs. Regardless of which medical plan you choose, you’ll receive pharmacy benefits from CVS Caremark.
We offer a dental plan from MetLife that allows associates to use a dentist of their choice or select from a list of dentists in the network to stretch your dollar further. Child orthodontic services are also covered.
We offer two vision options, both from VSP: a comprehensive or a discount plan. The comprehensive plan covers both vision exams and your materials. The discount plan is free of charge and provides a discount on many of your vision needs.
Teladoc is an innovative benefit that allows you to connect with a national network of board-certified physicians and pediatricians 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Limited provides access to the Teladoc services at no cost to you. However, there is a nominal co-pay for any consultations that they provide to you.
Health Advocate Healthcare Help
Health Advocate provides personalized assistance to help you and your eligible family members resolve healthcare issues to save time and money. When you call Health Advocate, you’ll be assigned a personal advocate who can assist you with finding the right doctors, understanding your benefits, correcting medical billing errors and helping you make informed decisions. The Limited provides access to Health Advocate at no cost to you.
Health Advocate Employee
Assistance Program (EAP) & Work/Life Assistance: The EAP is designed to help you lead a happier and more productive life at home and at work. The Limited provides you and your eligible family members access to unlimited telephonic assistance and up to 5 confidential, face-to-face counseling sessions at no cost.
Basic Life Insurance
The Limited provides you company-paid life insurance that is a multiple of your annual base pay. You may choose to purchase additional coverage for yourself as well as for your eligible dependents.
The Limited provides both short-term and long-term disability insurance for partial-income replacement at no cost to you.
401(k) Savings Plan
Through the 401(k) plan, you can save a percentage of your pay with pre-tax dollars and invest that money in a variety of quality mutual funds and target-date funds. In addition, the company matches your contributions, dollar for dollar, up to 3% of compensation, and $0.50 on the dollar of the next 2% of compensation for a total match of 4%. Essentially, if you contribute 5% of your eligible pay to your 401(k), you’ll receive 4% in matched dollars from The Limited. You are eligible to contribute to the 401(k) plan the first of the month after 30 days from your start date. You are eligible for matching contributions on the first of the month following one (1) year of employment if you’ve worked at least 1,000 hours during that time.
Health & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts
The Limited provides dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSAs). These accounts let you set aside an amount of your paycheck before most taxes are deducted from your pay. You can use these pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible items such as eyeglasses, co-payments, prescriptions, daycare and pre-school.
If you take public transportation, ride in a vanpool or pay to park near work or public transportation, The Limited provides you access to this tax-savings program. The commuter program helps you use pre-tax dollars to save up to 40% on commuting expenses.
We partner with a local credit union to provide you access no matter where you live in the U.S. The credit union is a full-service financial cooperative that does everything your bank does, but instead of returning profits to third-party stockholders, they return them directly to you in the form of competitive rates and fewer fees.
Health Advocate Medical Bill Saver
Through this resource, you can send Health Advocate your medical or dental bills over $400 and they’ll help you negotiate a discount when the bill is not covered by insurance.
We offer tuition assistance for approved work-related courses for full-time associates who’ve been employed for at least one year. We’ll provide approved educational reimbursement up to $3,000 per year.
Infertility Treatment Coverage
As a medical plan participant, if you seek infertility treatment in partnership with our Reproductive Resource Services program (RRS), you’ll have access to experienced infertility nurses who will help connect you with the right doctors and facilities as you go through the infertility treatment process. You’ll also have up to $10,000 in medical and $5,000 in pharmacy benefits to assist in infertility treatments (lifetime maximum).
Maternity Support Program (MSP)
As a medical plan participant, the MSP offers you health and educational support from the time you consider starting or expanding your family, through the first few months of your baby’s life. With this program, you’ll receive access to a dedicated maternity nurse, support for your special healthcare needs, and customized maternity education materials.
Diabetes Prevention and Control Alliance (DPCA)
As a medical plan participant, if you may be pre-diabetic or are a Type II Diabetic, we offer face-to-face support to help you manage your condition. The DPCA offers a 16-week education program for pre-diabetics and individual counseling with a specially trained pharmacist for those with Type II Diabetes—at no additional cost to you.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
The Limited provides PTO to give you flexibility in how you use your time off. PTO hours can be used for vacation, illness or personal days. Specific PTO blackout periods may apply during certain times of the year to meet the needs of the business.
The Limited recognizes the following six national holidays each year: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The dates these holidays are observed on may vary.
You and your eligible dependents can enjoy a merchandise discount of 40% on regular-priced items from The Limited.
