Redeeming Paper Merchandise Credit Certificates

If you received a merchandise credit in the form of a Gift Card, please see our Gift Card Redemption Instructions. Traditional Merchandise Credit Certificates may still be used following the redemption instructions below. Our paper merchandise credit certificates are not electronically traceable.

Redeeming Online
For all online redemptions, original Merchandise Credit Certificates must be mailed to the address listed below. Since they are not electronically traceable, we recommend that all paper certificates are mailed via a traceable carrier as The Limited cannot replace lost or stolen Merchandise Credits Certificates.

1. Place your order by calling our Customer Service Center toll free at 1-877-LTD-1963 (1-877-583-1963). Use a major credit card to secure the inventory for your order.
2. After you have placed your order, mail the original Gift Certificate to the address listed above.
3. Once your original Merchandise Credit Certificate is received, your credit card will be reimbursed for the amount of the merchandise credit.

Redeeming In-Store
To redeem your Merchandise Credit Certificate at The Limited store locations, the paper certificate must be present at the time of purchase.

1. Present your Merchandise Credit Certificate to the cashier at the time of purchase.
2. If there is a remaining balance, you will be given a new plastic Gift Card for the remaining value of your merchandise credit.
