- Purchases made online at thelimited.com may be returned or exchanged either by mail or at any The Limited store location. See our Store Locator.
- Purchases made at any of The Limited store locations must cannot be returned by mail and must be returned to a store.
- Final Sale merchandise is not eligible for returns or exchanges.
- Washed or worn merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective.
- Wedding Dresses can only be returned or exchanged by mail, and the Product Tag must not be removed. We proudly offer free standard domestic return shipping on all wedding dresses.
- All returns and exchanges must be made within 90 days of purchase.
Returning Online Purchases By Mail
Purchases made online may be returned by mail. Please note that a confirmation e-mail does not replace a packing slip as proof of purchase.
With an original packing slip
We will honor the return or exchange in the like manner that the merchandise was purchased. If your purchase was made using a Gift Card that you no longer have, please contact us at 1-877-LTD-1963 (1-877-583-1963) or e-mail us.
Without an original packing slip
We will issue a merchandise exchange or merchandise credit for the current selling price within a 90-day period. Please note that a confirmation e-mail does not replace a packing slip as proof of purchase.
Returning Purchases In-Store
Purchases made online (excluding Wedding Dresses and Online Exclusive merchandise) and in-store may be returned in any The Limited store location. Visit our Store Locator to find the store nearest you.
With an original receipt or packing slip
We will gladly accept returns or exchanges in a 90 day period and we will honor the return or exchange in the like manner that the merchandise was purchased. An exchange or merchandise credit will be issued for returns accompanied by a gift receipt. A gift receipt only serves as documentation of the purchase price. Please note that a confirmation e-mail does not replace your packing slip as a proof of purchase for online orders.
Without an original receipt or packing slip
We will issue a merchandise exchange or merchandise credit for the current selling price within a 90-day period.
Returning Wedding Dresses
We proudly offer free shipping & free returns on all standard domestic wedding dress orders! Wedding dresses can only be returned or exchanged by mail within 90 days of purchase. Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered to receive a refund. All Wedding Dresses are delivered with an attached Product Tag. The Product Tag must remain attached for the Wedding Dress to be eligible for return or exchange. Please allow 10-14 days for your return to be processed.
