Returns & Exchanges

Purchases made online at thelimited.com may be returned or exchanged either by mail or in any The Limited store location. Purchases made at any of The Limited store locations cannot be returned by mail and must be returned to a store. Final Sale merchandise is not eligible for returns or exchanges. Returning & Exchanging Online Purchases by Mail

Purchases made online may be returned or exchanged by mail following the instructions on the back of the packing slip included with your order.

Option 1
  1. Complete the return and exchange form on the back of the packing slip.
  2. Repack the merchandise with the original packing materials and enclose your completed return and exchange form.
  3. Affix the pre-paid SmartLabel from the front of your packing slip onto your return package.
  4. Drop the package in the U.S. mail, give it to your mail carrier, or take it to the Post Office. The cost of SmartLabel return shipping, $5.95, will be deducted from your refund, or charged to the credit card on file in the case of an even exchange.

Option 2
  1. Complete the return and exchange form on the back of the packing slip.
  2. Repack merchandise with original packing materials and enclose your completed return and exchange form.
  3. Address the package to the following address:

  4. Mail your package to the address above using a traceable and insured shipping method; we cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries. The cost of return shipping must be prepaid at the point of return.

Please note that The Limited is not responsible for customer returns that are not received.

Returning & Exchanging Purchases In-Store

Purchases made online and in-store may be returned in any The Limited store location following the guidelines detailed below. Visitor our Store Locator to find a store near you.

  • All returns and exchanges must be done within 90 days of purchase, and a government-issued ID must be presented at the time of the return or exchange.
  • Present your original packing slip or store receipt in order to get refunded for the price paid. All returns will be credited back to the original payment type.
  • Any shipping and handling fees paid during an online order are non-refundable. Gift wrap is also non-refundable.
  • If you return merchandise without a packing slip or store receipt, we can only provide the last known value of the item in the form of a merchandise credit.

Please note that a confirmation e-mail does not replace your packing slip as a proof of purchase for online orders.
