Lovely shell to stand alone or under jacket Very comfortable and feminine sleeves.. Size small is a size 4.. November 28, 2012
Great for Layering! Loved this piece so much I bought it in two colors for wearing under suits while interviewing. I love that even after interviewing I will be able to wear it under sweaters. The neck is the perfect scoop --low enough to show off a necklace, but not too low that it shows too much. Also, it has worked well for traveling -- can get wrinkled, but unwrinkles nicely if you leave it in the bathroom while showering or to hang overnight. No ironing needed for me. I have also washed both of them a few times now and they have held up really well; no shrinking! And if you're iffy on sizes I would recommend going down a size. November 26, 2012
Good layering piece I agree with previous reviewers that this is a good basic to layer under jackets which is exactly what I was looking for. That being said, I don't know that I would have purchased it for full price (I got it for less than half the cost). The quality isn't poor, it just isn't great and I don't think it's worth the full price of this top. I bought the black in my normal size small and it's pretty sheer. I think if i wear it with a black bra and under a jacket, I should be okay but I don't know that I would be comfortable wearing it by itself. All in all, good for what I purchased it for and for the price I paid. Definitely a versatile piece. November 21, 2012
bought one in every color! This shirt is fantastic! I bought it in grey, black and off white. It is long enough to tuck in, and looks great under a cardigan, or on its own. November 20, 2012
shirt really liked shirt when i purshased and wasd\ looking foward to wearing but due to changed of events decided to return it,, November 8, 2012
necessary piece I had been looking for a few pieces to wear under jackets or dressed up by themselves and this shell is it! It fits well and looks great under a jacket. I bought all three colors! November 8, 2012
LOVE it so much, I bought in all colors! I tried this on in black in store because it was the only one they had in my size. I ended up buying the black AND I bought the grey and cream online while waiting in store because I loved it so much! So flattering - you can wear it tucked into pants or a skirt or simply out loose. I gave 3 stars for quality, because it is a bit thin and somewhat sheer, but not so much that you need a cami underneath. Such a great buy! November 7, 2012
Goes with everything My black top goes with everything, all my skirts and pants. Tuck in and it looks solid and flatering. November 5, 2012
Flowy and effortless I tried the ballerina pink version on in my typical Limited size small (140lbs, 5'8, 36B). As others have mentioned, the shirt is flowy, but I think it's a gorgeous, effortless blouse. This piece looks great untucked with jeans or dress pants, and amazing tucked into a pencil skirt. The material is quite thin, so you need to pair it with a camisole if you plan on wearing it alone. With a blazer or cardigan, this shirt is a layering staple and can be worn without the camisole. I love it! November 3, 2012
Love This Shirt!! I absolutely love this shirt. I bought it in black and grey. The fit is great for those of us with curves. This shirt is so versatile and will look great with jeans or dress pants. October 26, 2012
Loved this top! Great wardrobe staple for young professionals. A little boxy but not overly so. October 23, 2012
Not the best layering piece for your money As others have said, this shell has a very boxy fit so I got an XS instead of my usual S. It fits good in my shoulders and arms, but still feels boxy around my midsection. The color is not as it appears on my monitor, but it's actually a very pretty neutral ballerina pink. It looks okay under cardigans, but I felt like it added unnecessary bulk due to the boxy fit. Perhaps I'd feel differently if I'd wear it under blazers instead. Overall, I just feel like this top is just mediocre. I'd rather spend my money on some camis or a button-up. October 22, 2012
Would be a good basic, but too sheer I wanted to like this because I need some basic layering pieces to wear under jackets and cardigans. However, even with a nude bra this top (light grey color) was way too sheer to wear without a cami underneath, which defeats the purpose. Also, the fit is a bit loose, so if you don't want too much bulk underneath your cardigan or jacket, I would recommend sizing down in this top. October 22, 2012
Better Than A Basic. This shell is very nice. At first glance the color, classic off white, looked almost champagne with a hint of shell pink to it. It almost appears to have a luster to it. It works well with casual clothing; skinny jeans of any color, or wear it with work wear. It looks amazing with a high wasted pencil skirt. I did size up to a Medium, from my usual size small, because the fabric does not stretch and I didn’t want to look constricted across my bust. I purchased a size: Medium For reference I am: 5’6”, 130Lbs, 37-26-37, 28GG bust. October 16, 2012
Great Work/ Layering Piece I agree that this top has a boxy cut but it's great tucked in and worn under a blazer/ cardigan. With a nude bra the off white isn't nearly as transparent as I expected. Great basic addition to your work wardrobe! October 9, 2012
Nice fit I think this top gives a nice silhouette. not at all boxy. I wear a medium and carry my weight in the middle and am a 38c. It is very flattering. Got it in all the colors. October 1, 2012
Meant to be Layered I tried this shirt on in the store, and thought that it would be a perfect shell to wear under jackets or cardigans. The fit is very boxy, but it doesn't need to be super tight if you use it for layering. I plan on ordering this shirt in black. I'm 5'8", 36B, and my normal size, medium fit perfectly.
