High Waist - Inaccurate Description In the description it says sits just below the waist yet on my packing slip it says High Waist. Now I have to ship them back. Caution High Waist Pants. January 18, 2014
These are not trouser pants! I was very excited to find these during one of the Limited's limited (pun intended) 50% off sales, plus free shipping. Please note the title "Cassidy Trouser Pants." I ordered them in a "short". Now I expected these pants to be bootcut with a high waist. The picture is very deceiving! Imagine my shock when I pull out the pants from the box and the cuffs are so wide you could fit my whole torso in one of the legs. I checked the invoice receipt. Here they are referred to as "Cassidy High Waist Wide Leg Pants." Oh great, NOW they mention the wide leg. I never would have purchased a wide leg because I am 5"2 and they swallow me! Which brings me to my second complaint: The length. These were not only NOT "short" (though the tag labeled them as such) they were actually too long for my mother who has a good 6 inches on me! Even the sales girl at the store where I returned them was amazed at how long they were for a "short" category measurement. She held them up to her (She was slightly taller than me) and the pants dragged half a foot past her feet. No need to explain the return after that! Buyer Beware: If you are looking for a WIDE leg trouser pant and are 6 feet tall (or taller) these are for you. Everyone else: You were warned. Again, the picture looks nothing like how the pants look in real life. Extend the hem out half a foot in each direction, have them swallow the shoes she's wearing and drag onto the floor in puddles, and you will have a better idea how they look. January 17, 2014
