Mostly cotton and some cashmere sweater Although the previous reviewer says that the description indicates this is a "mostly" cotton sweater, it does not, and the full price of the sweater would lead you to believe you were getting a pruduct that has more than 15% cashmere in the blend. The sweater is soft enough, and I pruchased my typical Limited size, and besides the sleeves being a bit tight, the sweater has a nice, relaxed look. I was planning to bring this sweater to the dry cleaner, but accidently snuck it into a delecate wash cycle with my other sweaters (cold water, with a bit of detergent and fabric softner then hang dry), and it actually came out just fine. No pilling, no shrinking, no fabric dulling. Thus, if you were reluctant to purchase this sweater, because cotton to cashmere proportions don't warrant all the dry cleaning, I say go for it. It's a lovely casual sweater, and actually machine washible. February 23, 2013
boxy sweater read the description! the item is clearly labeled as mostly cotton with a hint of cashmere. that's exactly how it feels and looks. the fabric is not 100% cashmere and neither is the price adjust your expectations accordingly, people. don't knock the sweater for what it's not. would i pay more than clearance price? definitely not. This sweater is too baggy and does not look good at all. I am not impressed! December 6, 2012
Guess I should have actually read the color versus going by the picture. Thought I was ordering a white sweater and it is a darker cream. The fabric is a bit rough not what I expected. The fit was what I thought it would be just not happy with color or quality of the material. November 29, 2012
Not worth the money This sweater is labeled as cashmere which it certainly is not! The fit and quality is not typical for The Limited. November 28, 2012
Barely Cashmere As mentioned in an earlier review, this sweater is only 15% cashmere. I extremely discourage anyone from buying this sweater at full retail price, as it's not worth it. I bought the sweater during a 60% sale, and even then I'm not completely sure if its worth it. As for fit, I'm 5'6, 140lbs and ordered a medium. The arms are snug, but the body of the sweater is very open and as indicated boxy. The back is longer than the front, and overall is comfortable. For being such a casual sweater, it's unfortunate that you have to dry clean it. November 18, 2012
Basic sweater I was able to snag this sweater at an obscene discount, and I'm not really sure it's worth keeping despite getting it for practically nothing. The sweater is 85% cotton and 15% cashmere, so it's soft enough, but not particularly luxious, or luxurious looking. I'm 5'8, 140 lbs and I purchased my typical size small. The arms are a bit tight, and the torso is pretty boxy (the picture of the purple version looks significantly more fitted than the sweater actually is#. I think I'd like it better if it were a bit longer too, because the front is cut a bit shorter than the back. The V-neck is a little more modest than what is pictured, too I think. I grabbed the grey and the white, and they're thick enough to keep you warm, but I'll probably pair these with camisoles underneath because the front comes up a bit shorter than the back #and I don't have a particularly long torso either). Unfortunately they aren't thin enough to lay well, so I feel like they aren't the most flattering sweaters #a boxy sweater that made me look, well, boxy). I think The Limited kind of missed the boat on these cashmere-cotton sweaters. I hesitated to get the more fitted version because the hem looks like it rolls/curls up, but these boxy sweaters are probably only good with skinny jeans for a casual look. I was really excited to get these, particularly for such a steal, but they aren't too versatile. They're extremely casual, not the most flattering fit, and the dry cleaning of a sweater that's not elevated much behond weekend comfort wear when I want to lounge around the apartment might not make them worth it. Beautiful Sweater Love this sweater! The material is not too thick, but not thin enough to require a cami. True to TL size. I purchased a S in off-white, and it was a perfect fit. For reference I'm 5'3, 126lbs, and 34D. If you're considering sizing down because of the "boxy" feature of this sweater, keep in mind the arms may be a little snug. October 6, 2012
