Wonderful Work Shirt This was my very first Limited purchase. I absolutely love this shirt. It is made very well and fits perfectly. I am all about comfort and this looks professional without feeling stuffy. I will be making The Limited a regular stop for my work clothes shopping! April 10, 2014
Title fits This was a great essential white shirt for work. Love the slightly tailored fit. March 20, 2014
A wardrobe must have! I actually have this top in the white and black. They are very versatile and can be dressed up or down. I especially like to wear them under a sweater during the winter months. I look forward to wearing it cuffed during warmer seasons. March 16, 2014
a black shirt always look classic every woman needs a basic classic shirt in their closets. You can dress it up and down. And it goes with everything. February 20, 2014
Button gap in chest area Really loved this shirt BUT the chest area is too small or the button placement is off. It fits but gaps open. I would hate to be tugging on my blouse all day to fix it. Good quality and otherwise would have kept it. I hope they will re-design this and offer it again. February 8, 2014
Good Quality Staple Shirt I purchased both the black and white Essential Shirts when trying to replace some lower quality ones I had. The black shirt is my favorite button down I own, and I give that one five stars across the board. The white shirt...I have barely worn. I'd give it three stars. Another reviewer mentioned that the fit of these shirts has become more of a straight cut rather than fitted to a woman's shape (still fitted a little, but not like other Limited shirts). On the black shirt, this cut is great. It still hints at a lady shape and is quite slimming and very professional. On the white...I don't think the cut looks as good. Also, the white is very white...I think I might like it more if they made more of a soft white or off-white shirt. I have very fair skin and this washes me out. I am worried about stains too - I haven't worn it enough that anything has gotten on it, but I'm not sure how well it will hold up when that happens, especially because of how bright the white is. However, these shirt are really good quality and very comfortable. I also appreciate that there is ample room in the bust area (I am a 34DDD and this is one of the few button ups that I can button over my bust without buttons looking like they're going to pop). I think it is important to have both a black and white button up as a staple in your professional wardrobe, and I will completely recommend the black shirt. The white I suppose is personal preference. I think it might look very nice on someone with darker skin than I have (like the model in the picture) January 29, 2014
Essential Shirt. I love this shirt!!! I have it in black and white. I almost wish that I had gotten 2 of each!! Very comfortable and well made. I can wear them with jeans, slacks, or a skirt.. Love it!! January 23, 2014
Essential Shirt Changes a bit This essential shirt has changed its design in the past few years. It's a bit longer, which is nice, but the shape is much straighter, which unfortunately results in the mid-section bulging out more (if you go with a slightly bigger size), or in contrast, if you bought it small enough to fit in the middle, it would then be too tight across the chest and hips area. It wouldn't hurt to have a little bit more curve, because it would just naturally fall down without being too tight or big in the important areas. The fabric now has some more stretch to it, but not enough that it really stretches to fit your curves, so the spandex addition was practically useless. It needs more or less stretch to make a difference. The fit is somewhat possible to work with. The slightly longer length, including sleeves are a big plus as we all appreciate that. You can always use a little more length in the sleeves. A little longer is never a problem, but when they are too short it looks horrible and keeps pulling under the armpits. So there have been a couple of improvements, and a couple of things that are the opposite of an improvement. Overall it's an average button down shirt. It would be great if they put a little more curve back into the shirt.... and if they would make a wider variety of colors, like some soft feminine colors. I will keep checking to see if they make more colors with a more feminine touch and a more feminine shape to them in the near future. I'll keep all my lady friends posted about my feedback on this essential shirt. October 28, 2013

Thanks for your question! This shirt can be ironed if you prefer or you can wash as directed and take out of the dryer immediately for a wrinkle-free wear, too.

Personally, I don't think it *needs* to be ironed but if you want a crisper look then I think it would look fine. Something I like about this shirt is the fit is so nice (the subtle curve and flare) that even with a few wrinkles it still looks like it's just hovering over your natural shape. Either way, I think you'd be fine.

I would say usually typically yes, or take it out of the dryer immediately and hang it up.

You could also get a wrinkle-releaser (I recommend Downy's), and that could get you by if you want to wear this more than once between washes or if it gets wrinkled in the closet. In the morning as you're getting ready, just spray the wrinkle releaser lightly all over the shirt, and stick it in the dryer while you shower, and voila!

No. It came out of the package in great shape. Not a lot of wrinkles. I think if you wash and dry and hang it up quickly, it won't need ironing.

Yes. It doesn't wrinkle easily but does need to be ironed after washing.

This shirt does not need to be ironed as long as it is removed immediately from dryer and hung.
