Not top quality I haven't even worn the sweater for a full day, and already it is pilling, especially at the cuffs and arms. It looks shabby now. I'm disappointed by this sweater, and I got it 50% off. As others complained, it could also be longer. I wish I would have chosen something different. November 25, 2013
Soft but goofy fit So the sweater is super soft (which is AWESOME) but it fits kind of strange... it isn't quite long enough but it was a little baggier than I was expecting in the torso. I ordered the sweater that looked white in the picture, but it's not white, it's grayish. It would be nice if they used the same knit but sized it better. Cowl neck was great. Also, I've only worn it twice but the sweater is pilling quite a bit. November 13, 2013
Cozy! Runs big, but looks great with jeans or dressed up. November 10, 2013
Very Short I really liked this sweater. It was light but comfy and the cowl neck was awesome, but goodness was it short on me. I'm about 5'7 with average torso and it hit right at the top of my hips, which to me is too short. I'm returning it in hopes to find a longer one. Too bad. November 7, 2013
Comfy I love this sweater! The material is very soft and so comfy! This sweater can be worn for a dressy occasion or casual get together. If you like sweaters I would recommend this one!! November 7, 2013
Comfy and Cozy As other reviewers mentioned, this sweater is nice and cozy for fall weather. It is a little thin for winter, but I think if it's layered properly, it'll work okay for the colder months. The camisole I wore beneath it had to be tucked in since the sweater is a little short, but overall I'm pleased with it. Too short Mine is going back. Overall a great piece, but I like sweaters to be just a little longer. This hits at the very top of my hips (average torso length). They have another cowl neck sweater right now that is PERFECT (below in the review). If you don't mind short, this is a great sweater. October 27, 2013
Nice cozy sweater This is a great cozy sweater. This is not a very heavy sweater, it is just right. I like cowl neck sweaters but they normally annoy me but this one does not. (It wasn't a large cowl neck) The sweater is a little shorted hits right around hip bones. I would prefer it a little longer but I still love this sweater. It is great for a chilly day! A:
The sweater is made with a thicker yarn, but a slightly loose knit. I liked it because it is a medium weight, comfy sweater that I wouldn't sweat to death in while at work, but warm enough for the outdoors layered with a coat. For what it's worth, I also found it to be one of the softer sweaters offered by TL at the moment.

Thank you for the question! We consider this a heavier gauge sweater.

It is not lightknit like the Merino sweater but it is also not super heavy either. I would say it is in between the two. Hope that helps.

I would consider it a medium warmth sweater. I did not need a jacket on a chilly, breezy day.

My opinion is that it's somewhere in between. Very soft, but not super thin.
