so so! Bought this expecting it to be a little heavier. The beads are on a cloth and I was expecting it to be metal as well. Did not return it. It looks okay. Not bad. November 7, 2012
Concept Jewelry As the previous reviewer said, the chain is lightweight and the curls are actually beads on fabric. Interesting concept and makes for a cool gift, but no way would I pay full price for this thing. I did like the look though, and thought it would look nice over a turtleneck or something like that. Disappointed - not a weighty necklace but plasticy I had my eye on this necklace for months and finally bought it on a sale. Based on the photo, the materials (it says brass), and the price, I was expecting a solid, high quality piece. Imagine my surprise when I receive this lightweight item. The chain feels exactly like plastic - I can't imagine that it's really brass. The three curlicues are actually beads sewn on CLOTH - it is not metal. The cloth pieces are tied with a thread like fishing wire to the chain. Those pieces aren't tied well, so they itch my neck terribly. The only pro is that when the necklace is on your neck it is as deceptive as it is in the photo and it looks heavy and pretty, which is why I give it three stars. I haven't decided whether to keep the piece of not, but I am SO disappointed bc I expected so much more. It is RIDICULOUS that this necklace would cost $80. I realize that this designer is designing for The Limited instead of for her haute couture line, but that's no excuse for such poor quality. February 18, 2012
