I'll have to get it tailored. I'm normally a M in Limited tops, but after reading the reviews for this, I ordered both a M and L just in case...I'm glad I did! I'm 5'8", and a D cup. The M fit perfectly everywhere but my chest, it was WAY too tight. The L fits over my bust, but is a little too large everywhere else, which is fine for the skirt, but I'm going to have to get the straps shortened and the sides of the top taken in. Also, don't even attempt to put this on from the bottom up, this goes on over your head or not at all, the other reviews weren't lying when it said that the waist was ridiculously non-stretchy. Great dress I really like this dress. First of all I ordered a large and thought it was a little shorter than i prefer although it fit everywhere else. I took a chance in the xl and it fit great. I am 5'8" and I typically wear a 12-14 and large tops. While the large fit, the xl offered the length I wanted. I like my maxis to almost kiss the floor. It was only slightly looser on the top which I thought fit the relaxed feel of the dress. I didn't have a problem with the waistband as others had. It is a bit snug going on but accentuates the waist well. It wasn't uncomfortable nor difficult to get on/off in either size. The material is a nice weight and it hangs nicely while wearing. I ordered the black. Also, you can wear a bra with this dress which is fab! February 11, 2014
I Liked It I ordered this dress before I read the reviews, which then made me nervous after I read what the others wrote. However, I did like this dress a lot. I'm 5'5, usually wear a S or XS at The Limited, and I'm a B cup. I did not have a problem getting the dress on. The waist isn't very stretchy, but if you have a small upper body/chest it won't be hard to get the dress on. It was very flattering on me and made me look smaller than I actually am. It's a little long for my height, but it doesn't matter because I'll be wearing it with wedge sandals. February 2, 2014
Wanted to love.... I am always a medium at the limited but this I could not get over my boobs. way to tight. I'm a DDD and normal size so ladies if your bigger up top order up a size. the elastic band at the waist has no give to it. January 23, 2014
could have been great, design flaws I have been looking for this exact dress for a year, so I was excited and ordered it in both blue and black. I have gained some weight so I was torn between small and medium, but according to size chart it said I was still in sm range. I feel like once it is on, it looks good and I think that a medium would be too much material in bust and skirt, but the waist band is ungodly tight and has no stretch. Why?! Putting it on was difficult (getting it over the bust), but despite that I had to decided to keep it until I tried to get it back off. As I write this review I am trapped in it, afraid I will rip it, waiting for my husband to get home and help me. If I keep it I will have to have zipper put in or something. I guess I can go with bigger size, maybe they want it to be really loose everywhere but your waist and sag around bust everywhere? I used to shop a lot at limited, but lately everything feels like it was designed for Barbie.I am not a large person, but we all don't have big breasts and tiny waists. This dress would look great on all body types if only the waistband was stretchy like the rest of the dress. December 28, 2013
Just okay. I was misguided by the description. I thought that this was fully lined - no so. Only lined in the bust. December 23, 2013
This dress is very flattering. But, it is a little hard to put on and take off; the waist band doesn't stretch as much as I thought it would. I'll keep it because it looks nice, but without any give, the dress should have a zipper. December 20, 2013
